The Tradition and Meaning of Widows Night in a Masonic Lodge

Widows Night is a respected tradition within the Masonic Lodge, dedicated to honoring the widows of departed Brethren and reaffirming the Lodge’s enduring commitment to their care and inclusion.

This observance serves as both a remembrance of those Brothers who have passed and a recognition of the vital role their spouses played in their lives. It reflects the Masonic principle that the bonds of brotherhood extend beyond death, embracing and supporting the families left behind.
